As the winter weather turns bitter far to the north, the annual migration of snow birds makes its way to Dauphin Island, Alabama looking to "putt down" for the season. Mardi Gras returns to Dauphin Island on Saturday, January 5 at 1 p.m. as the Krewe de la Dauphine hosts its 15th annual parade. Bald eagle shot - January 1, 2008
