On a lighter dirt note . . .- June 28, 2005 Why on earth do I keep watching these Real WorldRoad Rules challenges They're always idiotic. And even the characters I liked on the Real World come off looking bad. Immature even compared to their shows of origin. Yet I get sucked in, can't let go. I will never allege, however, that these shows are any good. Just that I have trouble resisting. And they sometimes make me feel dirty too, though in a far more trivial way than the above post. After my little rave about how much I enjoyed the first episode of Kept, of all things, it took exactly one more episode to lose its charm. These guys were just too trashy and idiotic, even to laugh at. At first it was hysterical to watch how quickly Jerry Hall saw right through Ricardo Suave's blatant insincerity, and to see her take on their encounters edited against his.
