This must have happened during the thunderstorm yesterday. Not the best weather to take pictures, a tad too dark for my digital camera. But then I really like this kind of weather. :) This is a branch from the tree the lightning cut into half. One of the reasons why forest and thunderstorms do not mix well. Significant enough to warrant a journal entry. ;) It is titled "DnD stuff" link (for now) and contains various stuff I have created for our campaign. That is (for now) an adventure for epic level players, "Haunting Grounds". Apart from replies like "WTF!", "Aaaaargh!" and "Oh NO!" which Kianga had during play, it seemed that he liked it. It feels so good to be poor again. :D This thing is so cool I cannot believe that I waited so long and wasted 399 on that crappy HP camera and another 349 on the (actually pretty nice) Olympus C350 last year. Okay, digital SLR was not quite affordable earlier. As with all "pro equipment" it comes with a ton of stuff. Not much to say besides that it was really, really, ugly, cold and wet weather. On the positive side, fewer people were there and it was a nice day. The same "nobody has a clear majority" will go on and on forever. Things I liked: CDU and especially CSU lost heavily. I think they overestimated the people in this country. Nobody takes tax increase lightly these days. That's the price to pay for arrogance. Things I disliked: LinkePDS at 8.something%.
