On the way to Euston - July 7, 2008

It's still unclear what happened at Holyhead this morning to cause thecancellation of the train and there is also no word as to why thetrain ex-Carlisle isn't running. So as a result, I'm on the first London train for an hour out ofCrewe, and it's stopping at Stafford, Rugby, MK and Watford Jn on theway there.Meanwhile, Matthew and Christopher are at school or on their waythere, while David continues to sleep, presumably trying to get hisbody clock in line with British Columbia before he arrives.

Well, the week has been a busy one.On Tuesday, it was the evening meeting at All Souls, Langham Place, where I had the opportunity to learn more about the Jerusalem Statement and Declaration, the future of Anglicanism. Online petition - Individuals in solidarity with the GAFCON Jerusalem Statement and DeclarationWednesday was another day at work, followed by drinks with folks from work. As we sat in the pub, we could watch as Murray, sponsored by our lot, lost to Nadal.Thursday...another day at.

Good morning from Olympia - July 1, 2008

Goodness me, this place is busy this week!Anyway, it seems that once Christopher and Viv escaped from Alder Hey, Christopher went off and spent the rest of the day at school before going home and doing all the usual things before turning in for an early night.Today, more school, and I'm feeling more encouraged.Getting back to Olympia last night was a challenge, as a fire at Earls Court meant no trains to Olympia. On the other hand, catching a bus wasn't too much of a drama.
