Though the use of visual overlays in some scenes was a little cheesy, the selection of songs was impressive, and for most of the flick I was close to tears, which I will admit takes a really good movie to bring me to. I don't really want to write about it since it's about all that's been in my brain for weeks now, I'm sweating vajras and soma. And it's occluding everything I'd rather discuss about mythology that's come up recently, such as modern myths about race or the Native American geographical myths we trekked through out west this summer.
