A Web Service for the Weather- December 6, 2004 A couple of years ago, we created the AirportWeather Web service. Later, we upgraded it to GlobalWeather. :This Web service works by downloading a batch file from NOAA in the background each hour, updating a data repository. Queries are then made against this repository.
