Its come to replace the simple cans of cranberry sauce served at the holidays. So good its almost a desert! The celery sounds odd but it fits in there perfectly. I think you'll like this if you like a little heat in your dip and, it's a little different than the many other good recipes posted here on 'Zaar. To reduce the heat, you can omit the adobo sauce, reduce the number of chipotle peppers, or use a mild salsa. I use my favorite brand of refried black beans; if you prefer, use canned black beans, drain and rinse, then mash them in a blender or food processor. Serve with tortilla chips. -- posted by ninjahttp://www.recipezaar.com/313149 Dry-Fried Green Beans- July 10, 2008 Tasty side dish when green beans are fresh. If you have access to Chinese yard-long beans you can use those too, just cut into 2-3 inch lengths. In any case the beans must be fresh, not canned or frozen. The canned and frozen forms have too much moisture in them to fry properly. -- posted by Sheynathhttp://www.recipezaar.com/313148 Quick & Creamy Potato Soup- July 10, 2008 Adopted from a Kraft cookbook, a simple potato soup to try.... -- posted by Chef 717562http://www.recipezaar.com/313147 Rice and Beef Pilaf- July 10, 2008 300g beef 2 cups rice 1 medium onion 2 tablespoons oil black pepper salt cinnamon sweet pepper -- posted by Annie 007http://www.recipezaar.com/313145 Parmesan Crabby Cakes- July 10, 2008 Crab cakes... yum.
