Boy Killed In Eckert House Fire Identified- February 1, 2008 The young victim of a house fire in Eckert is being identified as a 2 12-year-old boy. The Montrose Daily Press reports Stoney Bridgeo died in the blaze that broke out at his home Wednesday. Fire crews arrived shortly after noon and learned the boy was still inside, but they couldn't gain entry to the house because of extreme heat. Firefighters located the boy after the fire was out.
