When I bought it, the 400 MHz CPU was the fastest available. The 450 MHz CPU had been announced but was not yet shipping and I didn't want to wait. Now days you can get a Pocket PC running at 400 MHz with 128 MB of RAM. Four years. Maybe five. The speed of CPUs have gone from 400450 MHz to 2.5, almost 3.0 Ghz.
