Didn't see that coming.- May 21, 2008 The head of my lab is leaving to become the global director of anti-bacterial and anti-fungal infection research for Merck on June 11th. I just found this out today. Apparently, the lab will be probably be closing down later this year, if not sooner.That's no big deal for me since I probably wasn't even going to have time to work in the lab past this summer due to a tighter work schedule, tighter class schedule, and the new baby. Stubborn lysogenized phages make me cry. The baby ETA is still July.I have the general GRE coming up on June 2nd.
