I spent the longest day of the year playing my first round of golf in 9 months trying to get ready for the annual company tourney. I had to get my exercise before the conference as I'll be sitting around inside all day. Have I ever said how much I love NYC I do. It is the quintessential city that never sleeps and is always bustling with something to do.I had dinner at Dylan's Prime in the East Village. Very good and very expensive, but it was on corporate expense.This morning I was outside and saw Meredith and Al and Matt in the street speaking for the Today SHow. It is so real. I was given a passs to go, but somehow I lost track of time, had conflicting schedules and never got caught up. Everything takes a nhour or so to get to in LA at least, and that means 2 hours of travel time. Ughhh! I was looking forward to getting some pictures with some of my favorite stars and to see my friend Jack Lawrence who has been dogging me to meet up. How fun!Now I have to go back to the world we live in. Who says thatt here should only be 5 work days and 2 weekend days If we are to live a balanced life, there should be equal weekend and weekday days.It is actually the end of the month so month end reports are due.
