Given away by its owner, the town solicited bids and finally came up with a buyer from NJ. The only saving grace in that is NJ is a great place for diners. But all winter long, the Miss Portland languished, under a green tarp, then a blue tarp to cover the other tarp, and in a parking lot off Marginal Way in Portland.
