Beef strogonoff comes in a flavor-rich heavy cream sauce, with a touch of ketchup, mustard and soy sauce, along with chopped mushrooms. It is perfect when served with white rice, potato sticks and a green salad. I particularly am not very fond of mushrooms, so I leave it out of the recipe when I make it for my picky eaters at home, but I am posting the original recipe for this brazilian dish. Enjoy! -- posted by Gabe's Momhttp://www.recipezaar.com/296067 Pad Thai- April 2, 2008 I got the basis for this recipe out of Hot Sour Salty Sweet by Jeffrey Alford and Naomi Duguid--an excellent cookbook for all manner of Southeast Asian cookery. Don't be intimidated by the long list of ingredients--this goes together super quickly. Chicken or tofu could easily be used in place of the pork. -- posted by damienduckshttp://www.recipezaar.com/295806 Colorful Thai-Style Noodles- April 1, 2008 This recipe takes inspiration from Moosewood's "Cooks at Home" recipe for Pad Thai. I have made this recipe dozens of times and added my own distinct embellishments to the dish. It's a dish which never fails to excite my wife's palate. Don't be daunted by the ingredient list, once the dish is prepped it takes less than 10 minutes to cook!
