INDEPENDENCE Museum receives grantFriends of the National Frontier Trails Museum recently received a $4,870 grant.The Missouri Humanities Council awarded it to support the museum's 'Blazing Borders' project, a seminar designed for teachers.The project includes lectures and field trips to offer insight into mid-19th century American life.
