Christmas Is Coming How do I know, living in Los Angeles Easy. Top 5 hints that Jolly Old Saint Nick is coming soon: 5. The big billboards around town showing a diamond and the headline "Imagine The New Years Resolutions She'll Make". OK, that's just sad. 1, why would you need to bribe your wife or girlfriend for love 2, maybe the headline shoulda said something like "Imagine The Blowjobs You'll Get". I'm pretty sure that's what they mean. And hey, even I think that's kinda tasteless. 4....

What Free Time It's getting to be the chorus to my own personal soundtrack. Or, maybe Barenaked Ladies' "Who Needs Sleep". Yeah, it's been that kind of week. Work's been insane, with a new client and a few existing clients who've been really active. It's always the end of the year rush, but this year's been worse than most because a lot of clients have put off their projects throughout the year... and now they gotta get 'em in shape before the holidays. I'm just glad the movie got out before...

Radio Play and Such Well, this is kind of cool. A second wave of interest in The Wow Signal has begun. Not only is it a cd worthy of piracy by our allies in China, but it's getting airplay on a number of Internet music radio stations. It's kind of cool. In other music news, of course, I just finished composing about half the music for the short film- which will be available soon. And of course I did the score for Isolation, too- which is getting festival play around the planet. I have this idea.

Arafat Worth a Billion Dollars Corruption and doing nasty things are about the only ways I know to become a billionaire. Oh, well, hey- there's that gameshow on TV coming up. Maybe that's how he got the cash in the Swiss bank accounts

Got My Spurs On Yup, it's that time of year again. Home improvement time. Just me, some nails, and my hammer. And the dogs and some beer. And 4 days of alone time. Also got my Les Paul out, and some new music software to play with. But that's not until after tomorrow. Tomorrow I launch another project, at least the beta version of it. It'll be a long one. Election The BBC reports that "America has definitively swung the the right". And has "Embraced the policies of George Bush, and given him a mandate for his right wing agenda". Which makes me a minority. But hey, the results are the results. Still, I only saw one BushCheney sign in Columbus Ohio. But I did have a discussion with a person that clarified some things for me. She was very proud to have voted for an amendment to the Ohio constitution that banned gay marriage and civil...

Ohio and Back I almost feel normal again. The flights were cramped, it rained a lot, for some reason my face swelled up and I hurt all over, and yet the funeral was about as good as a funeral can be. It was amazing to recconnect with people I love, one of the big disadvantages of living out here on the frontier is you don't get a lot of time with family. Papaw had 2 services, one "normal" and one masonic one the night before. Well, right in the middle of the masonic one, my Mom's best friend's..
