It was inventory and it was crazy but not all that terrible. Everyone arrived at 6am or around there. One of my coworkers got mugged at 8pm walking to his car. It was a traumatic story that is not really mine to retell. But, he parks his car not too far from where I live. This has me freaked out. Now, I live in the city so its expected that there is a certain level of crime. But, I guess that after moving to this part of town, I thought I had escaped the fear of walking on city streets. I also find it difficult to forget all the drastic changes that 2006 caused. I didn't get the job at CMU, didn't get into grad school but was left with feelings of hope rather than those of disappointment. I laugh everyday at my job and love it there but is it ever going to be enough to work at Pottery Barn So, 2007: The year of magical things. At least, I like to call it that.
