Three killed in Kansas storms - May 25, 2008

Turbulent weather was blamed for the deaths of three people in Kansas, including a 20-year-old man who apparently was killed by lightning early Saturday at Pomona State Park, about 35 miles south of Topeka.

Orange is the new copper - May 4, 2008

It might take a while to get used to the dome being bright orange, but think of all the taxpayer money that might be saved if Kansas let Home Depot use the Statehouse as an advertising vehicle. via Topeka Capital-Journal
