Given that they are already using the Maven-developed repository for artifacts at Ibiblio, this struck me as pretty strange. Constructing metadata for over 7000 artifacts by hand is not something I'd want to take on, especially when most of it already exists in the Maven repository. New Maven Site is Live- March 15, 2005 The new Maven web site has now gone live at http:maven.apache.org. After pointing users at the staging site for some time now, this was a long overdue overhaul that hopefully makes documentation easier to find, and more complete. There is still more to come, but all feedback and contributions are welcome. Feel free to comment here, on the Maven Users List, or add patches to JIRA.
