Pike Trail League formed 60 years ago- February 3, 2008 Sixty years ago, in January of 1948, superintendents from seven school districts formed an athletic league they named the Pike Trail League. The organizational meeting was held in Mankato's Correl Hotel on a Thursday evening. The school's represented were Burr Oak, Jewell, Randall, Scandia, Courtland and Simpson.
