US Military Deaths in Iraq at 4,023 - April 8, 2008

As of Monday, April 7, 2008, at least 4,023 members of the U.S. military have died since the beginning of the Iraq war in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count. The figure includes eight military civilians. Body Found In Woods 2 Days After Teen Disappeared - April 6, 2008

A body was found in the south suburbs Friday, two days after the disappearance of a 15-year-old girl. Police are still working the scene at 10 p.m. Friday. CBS 2's Dana Kozlov reports the body was discovered Friday afternoon in a wooded area near 223rd Street and Torrence Avenue in Sauk Village. Chaunteen Bennett is terrified the body found near a wooded trail and creek is that of her 15-year-old niece, Brashai Griffin.
