I seriously can't wait until Belfast when I'll hopefully be able to go out and have some fun! I went over to Megan's today for her birthday dinner. It was nice hanging out again, but I couldn't go clubbing with them for fear that I might get sicker...its so frustrating! My throat hurt so much when I woke up, I walked all the way to the health center and waited there for over an hour. The doctor perscribed steroids to help with the swelling and I've barely been able to eat anything since taking them. I hate being so sick during rag week. The health center is right next to the student bar and I noticed that they were having a huge dance party in the middle of the day. (I think this is the 6th case this year!) But I can't get my tonsils out here because my health insurance won't cover it. This weekend I am confined to my room to undergo a lonely process of getting well. The health center equipped me with some antibiotics, and I have tea and solpadeine to help with the pain. I went to the health center today because I've been sick for over a week now and it just seems to be getting worse! The nurse said that I might be having a relapse of mono and took a blood test. I have to go back at 3:30 tomorrow to find out if I have mono again and i'm incredibly nervous!!
