Actually, it was a double whammy - two almost simultaneous earthquakes that shook things up considerably, even here in Reykjavik some 35 miles away from the epicenters. Thankfully, only 28 people were hurt (none seriously), but property damages were considerable near the epicenters, some of which resulted in deaths of livestock.
