Sigh - Stupid DSL - May 30, 2006

My DSL is all messed up. AT&T insisted that it was a bad modem (I didn't believe that it was) and wouldn't even entertain other possibilities so long as I had the older modem. They insisted that the only possible solution was to send out a technician to the site to troubleshoot at a fee of $99. Like I can afford that. So I went out and got a new DSL modem, plugged it in, and... look. What a shock. STILL BORKED. Basically, it takes way longer than usual to connect the DSL (like instead of..

On the other hand, that's a lower GPA. And yes, I am aware that these are not bad...

Officially No Longer Perfect - May 10, 2006

Well, it's official. I've finally lost my 4.0, as the first final grade has been submitted and posted and it's an A- in Immunology. (Which, in all honesty, is a heck of a lot better than I expected to get.) Still, it's kind of bittersweet. Ah well.
