He was 72. Griffiths was a member of the Magnum photo agency. He starts out in Washington, and then continues on to New York. The Pope will head back to Rome on April 20th. The photo service of L'Osservatore Romano, the newspaper of the Vatican, has an extensive archive of photographs of Pope Benedict XVI.
