Fire Restrictions To Be Lifted Monday In NW Minn. - June 7, 2008

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will lift burning restrictions in the northwestern part of the state at 8 a.m. Monday. The restrictions are being removed because the area has received adequate spring rains and vegetation has "greened up." The counties of Kittson, Roseau, Marshall, Pennington and Red Lake will relax open burning restrictions on Monday.
