Why Was It Removed - July 23, 2008

As I was combing over this today, I could not help but wonder why some of the items were removed at all Take DXDiag for instance. This is a tool that nearly every gamer out there is aware of and has likely used to diagnose issues with DirectX. Why was it cut - get this, it is not "cross platform friendly". Yup, however according to this, cross platform with regard to Microsoft's gaming platforms - Xbox and Windows. So by this logic, because it will not work on Xbox...then it must be eliminated.

iPhone 3G; Third Time's the Charm - July 22, 2008

Hopefully this will help you make a decision if you are on the fence about getting an iPhone 3G. To start with, once the iPhone 3G is activated, it will continue to...

Every now and then, some site will put up their piece on file manager replacements. This particular one belongs to Lifehacker. I'm posting this because Lifehacker is one of my favorite sites of all time. You'll always get good information, as well as the privilege of reading the arugments comments. This article is a call for submissions, complete with commentary. For the record, I use xfe and Konqueror on linux. The jury is still out on Windows, but I use x2explorer and xplorer2. I prefer...

I got featured! - July 22, 2008

OK, totally out of the blue I got featured in one of Chris Pirillo's vids. The other day I was really looking for something to do and I like nothing more than letting people know of the great things I find, so I found something that I liked the look of (see the video to find out what), sent it to Chris, and he did a video on it and mentioned my name and read my email.
