I had no travel-sized toothpaste but I did have an empty travel-sized toothpaste tube. Not wanting to carry a huge tube of toothpaste for a short trip and without even thinking about it, my mind hatched a plan. By opening both the the full tube and smaller empty tube and placing their tube-openings end to end I was able to slowly squeeze and transfer toothpaste from one tube to the other with almost no waste.
