As a spinoff from the ECI Telecom Hi-FOCuS ATU-R-project this list evolved by listing the next step after the DSLAM implementing RFC 2516: A Method for Transmitting PPP Over Ethernet (PPPoE).

Starting by a regular input of KAIX11-erx and a discussion about location in Kaiserslautern or Karlsruhe, KARX11-erx was discovered in a newsgroup article and added manually. After that MAIX11-erx was received by the same first contact who draged the info from a friend. He pointed out that this is no info for MAIX13-erx where the MAC is missing still.

new DNS-shemecorrected numbering-glitch - June 4, 2003

Transition to new DNS-sheme is starting with WUBX11-erx only naming CIDR-net in table and giving every IP instaed of only 2 a name in the hosts-file. This gives nice traces to client-IPs like pd9e68f7c.dip.t-dialin.net. Corrected a numbering-glitch in the typical Juniper-SLR-subnet.
