Porchetta - Italian Marketplace Slow Roast Pulled Pork Sandwich - April 22, 2008

This is JUST gorgeous! A domestic take on the classic Italian marketplace or street food, Porchetta, which is actually roast suckling pig. Porchetta is thickly sliced and served in ciabatta bread as a delectable hot sandwich throughout Italy. My recipe is a much-adapted recipe taken from one of Nigella Lawson's cookbooks, and it is SO easy to make at home. The Lost Art of Lefse Making (Step-By-Step) - April 22, 2008

This is a very traditional (and labor intensive) Lefse recipe from my town's "Lefse Lady" who made her famous Lefse in our small Norwegian town in ND. It is by Mrs. Marcus Schmidt from our town's Centennial cookbook. This is the lefse everyone in town would covet around Holiday season. Ginger Beltane Cookies - April 22, 2008

Strong and spicy these gingerbread-y cookies will wake you up after the winter. Adapted from the Witches' Datebook. These come out flat, and dependant on how long you cook them will be crispy or soft. For puffier cookies add another egg. Please note that these cookies are very very spicy.
