The folks at Chow lightened them up by roasting them in the oven for a quick and easy snack without sacrificing any flavor. Try them out at your next cocktail party, and dont be put off by the amount of garlicroasting sweetens and mellows it. -- posted by Sandi (From CA)http://www.recipezaar.com/310063 Apple Pear Cranberry Crisp- June 18, 2008 Adapted from 2007 Ina Garten's recipe. I added the cranberries. They go so well with the pears and the apples, and fresh cranberries were in season and they go so well with the orange zest and juice. This crisp can be successfully frozen. I just made mine the other night, and I actually assembled it and froze it all, wrapped tightly in plastic wrap then aluminum foil, for 8 months!!! And it was delicious. -- posted by Citruholichttp://www.recipezaar.com/310026 Jenn's Jambalaya Bake- June 18, 2008 Classic jambalaya mixed with some pasta and turned into a casserole. I made this recipe on my own, it's a family favorite. Cook the Andouille ahead of making the Jambalaya mix. Cook your pasta before making the Jambalaya Mix as well. -- posted by Chef Erishttp://www.recipezaar.com/310005 Wonderful Pork Chop Dinner- June 18, 2008 Pan seared Pork Loin chops, roasted veggies and creamy orzo. I love roasted Vegetables and was tinkering in the kitchen when I created this, my honey and I ate until we were about to POP it was so good! For the chops I always buy a whole loin, (better value for the money) and slice off the number of chops i need for each meal -- posted by Chef 864605http://www.recipezaar.com/310001 Caitlin's Sweet Potato Soup- June 18, 2008 A nice, vibrant, and very simple soup with loads of flavour. -- posted by CaitlinLhttp://www.recipezaar.com/309996 Coffee With a Butterscotch Twist- June 18, 2008 Candy, coffee, whipped cream....sigh -- posted by Annaciahttp://www.recipezaar.com/309956 Homemade Meatballs- June 18, 2008 Tasty Italian meatballs made from a family recipe.
