BU Poll! Axon Vs. Necris Vehicles - June 23, 2008

Putting the previous poll behind us, in which the majority believes Cliff "don't call me CliffyB" Bleszinski would be best served with an unpronouncable symbol for a new nickname, we move on to the latest. Anyone who has played a handful of Warfare or VCTF matches has had the opportunity to pit one class of vehicles against the other. In one corner, we have the Necris vehicles. Though you may have fewer vehicles from which to choose, they all pack quite a punch and are quite versatile. In the..

The Ball : Pehua Update - June 22, 2008

Good news and bad news... it doesn't look as if this singleplayer UT3 mod is going to make it out this weekend. The good news is that we've got a progress update and the first minute of gameplay (WIP) on video. We are not making the planned weekend release because like always, things take longer than expected, but the good news is that we are pretty close to a beta now. There are 15 issues left, and 13 of those are really easy to fix. The mod will be about 130 MB large, and this first release.

Gears of War PC Deal - June 22, 2008

If you haven't already picked up Gears of War for the PC, you may consider doing so this weekend at Circuit City should you have one nearby. They are advertising the game for an all-time low of $19.99. Currently, multiplayer isn't exactly hopping, but the singleplayer experience is a nice ride, and even better in co-op if you can coax a buddy into picking one up too.

Following the successful launch of their Thor Lightning Gun, RuneStorm unleashes a second weapon modification for Unreal Tournament 3 - the Pitbull Shotgun. The 'Pitbull' shotgun is a classic, close range weapon, easily capable of dispatching enemies in close quarters. Use primary fire's dangerous single fire mode, or the deadly, double shot secondary fire mode to obliterate an enemy at close range. The Shotgun replaces all Flak Cannons by default by means of a mutator. The Shotgun also works.
