The previous most-attended show had been New Orleans Chicago with 10,600 tickets sold. Two other shows - Philadelphia New Orleans and the Gorge - also sold over 10,000 tickets. A couple of weeks ago we learned that Rush and several other prominent artists would be featured on a new album designed to help bring awareness to the plight of the Tibetan people. The album is titled Songs for Tibet - The Art of Peace and was organized by the Art of Peace Foundation. Despite some very inclement weather (2 inches of hail and 80mph winds!) which caused a slight delay (8:30 instead of 8:00), there was a huge crowd on hand and Rush had a number of HD cameras from FogoLabs in place.
