Mr Straw who is Labour MP for Blackburn, a constituency with a 25% Muslim population said he'd discussed the issue with many of his constituents before making the remarks in a newspaper column.http://www.deceptikons.com/article.asp?file=260.xml Conference Season Closes- October 4, 2006 It seems like months ago when parliament closed for the summer break, this shouldn't really come as a surprise as it was literally months ago. The parliamentary summer recess lasts 76 days. That's almost 11 weeks! The signal for the end of the recess is conference season, which is just about the only party political piece I have to write about all summer.
