Recipezaar: Casseroles recipesThe newest Recipezaar recipesin:CasserolesSouthwest Beef Shells- May 19, 2008 This recipe was given to me years ago in a recipe swap by my Aunt Shirley. It won 2nd place in the 1995 Mississippi Beef Cook-Off. I use medium or hot picante sauce because we like ours a little hotter. You can also use less cheese and ground turkey and it's just as fabulous. It is an easy recipe and we have it with some great jalapeno cheese bread! -- posted by LK Devildoghttp://www.recipezaar.com/304193 Artichoke Chicken- May 16, 2008 I haven't tried this chicken dish yet, but it has changed my dinner menu for tomorrow. I found this recipe on Allrecipes.com where it has received 663 5-star reviews. Credit goes to Amanda Bibb who submitted it. As I was reading through some of the reviews, there were some notations that I felt should be shared here. One reviewer said that even after draining the artichokes, there was still some excess liquid in the pan, so it was recommended that the artichokes be squeezed prior to chopping..http://www.recipezaar.com/303871 Italian Quiche (With Pepperoni, Mushrooms, & Olives)- May 16, 2008 Great tasting zesty quiche'. You can suit this more to your taste by adding other ingredients, but this is pretty good as is.... :-) -- posted by BlondieItalianahttp://www.recipezaar.com/303869 Taco Casserole With Onion-Cornbread & Cheese Topping- May 16, 2008 Easy Mexican Taco Casserole Dish... uses Jiffy cornbread mix and French's Fried Onions... Enjoy this served with mashed potato, green beans and baby carrots - -- posted by chefamyhttp://www.recipezaar.com/303299 Spring Veggie Burrito Bake- May 12, 2008 I got this from a seasonal cookbook. Sometimes it's too early for fresh spinach, so I go for turnip greens. The tumeric adds a little flavor and gives the rice that yellow "Spanish rice" look. I like cooking this in my Dutch oven on a Sunday. -- posted by Valeriahttp://www.recipezaar.com/303206 Impossible Bacon and Tomato Pie- May 12, 2008 from a local recipe pamphlet. -- posted by Mrs. Hugheshttp://www.recipezaar.com/303159 Tomato and Macaroni Casserole- May 12, 2008 From a local recipe pamphlet. -- posted by Mrs. Hugheshttp://www.recipezaar.com/303098 Creamy Chicken and Pasta Casserole- May 9, 2008 Another of my kids favorites! I got this recipe from my mother-in-law and tweeked it a bit. The result has become a staple in our house! Tip: I often make this, put into two small casserole dishes, and freeze one. To bake after frozen, bake covered at 300 for an hour, then 400 for ½ hour and then 15 min uncovered. -- posted by Amy (Chef 834956)http://www.recipezaar.com/302892 |
