The recipe can be altered to your on-hand ingredients easily. You can add a second can to give it a soupier touch. I make the sauce first and then use it for Baked Ziti. You can skip that step and eat with spaghetti noodles. It's fairly labor intensive but will keep for a while. I usually freeze it in portions for later. -- posted by One Little Deerhttp://www.recipezaar.com/266819 Mom's Macaroni Salad- November 17, 2007 Macaroni salad the way mom used to make. This is a unique recipe that requires no roux so the sauce is creamy not grainy as some can be. I make "Grown Up Mac-n-Cheese by replacing some of the cheese with gorgonzola (4oz to be exact) and giving it a crumb topping instead. This is easy enough for you to do as you like. I do recommend using several different types of cheese for complexity. -- posted by MacChefhttp://www.recipezaar.com/264590 Mexican Pasta- November 7, 2007 SUBMITTED BY: Mimi on allrecipes.com "A great vegetarian dish with a kick!" -- posted by Eat it up!!!http://www.recipezaar.com/264146 Chicken and Zucchini Soup- November 4, 2007 I looked in the fridge tonight and all I could find was a small bit of roast chicken and some veggies. It makes a wonderful stock and this was the resulting soup. -- posted by RonaNZhttp://www.recipezaar.com/263211 |
