Beef and Cabbage Stuffed Pig Stomach - December 29, 2007

Another recipe from the 1980 version of the Grace Evangelical Congregational Church cookbook from Muir, Pennsylvania that was given to me by my Nana when I became an adult. This recipe was submitted to the cookbook by Gertie Hammer. Trust me when I say that there is no chance at all that I will ever cook this but I think it was an interesting glimpse into a different era. -- posted by Sarah_Jayne

Crispy Fried Pickles! - December 29, 2007

You have to try these at least once. They are absolutely delicious... dip them in a little ranch dressing and you'll be addicted! Use your favorite cucumber pickles (I've only tried Dills, but Sweets might be good too!) -- posted by Canadian Cookie

Banana Hotdog - December 13, 2007

Peanut butter and banana is a combo I eat nearly every day, I can't get enough! So I came up with a clever way to use up extraleft over hotdog buns, or my more desired version of a peanut butter and banana sandwich! A good alternative for vegetarians at a bbq or a fun lunch for the kids! -- posted by Hydra

Olive Cobbler - December 8, 2007

I am an olive freak (hence my name) so when I saw this on Dinner with a Band (Sam Mason's cooking show), I knew I had to try it. It's supposed to taste like cherries, but I imagine it has a bit of a sweet-salty zing to it. -- posted by Picholine
