Comments for Design for LearningExploring rich media and social networking to create more innovative learning experiences.... 2 parts knowledge and inquiry, 2 parts plan, 2 parts sub and pop culture, 3 parts fun (including what the suits call execution).Comment on Embarrassed by nkilkenny- July 23, 2008 When I was in the 6th grade, our teacher did a daily news quiz right before lunch. The group that finished first got to be the first to go to lunch. Sounds mundane, but it really motivated us to learn where things were and pay attention to issues shared in the news... but this was back when the news wasn't so diluted with propaganda, repetitive jargon, and mindless drivel. I suppose teachers could do googlenews quests today.http://nkilkenny.wordpress.com/2008/06/19/embarrassed/#comment-231 Comment on Embarrassed by Herman Najoli- July 23, 2008 I teach Global Issues and I'm not surprised by this answers.
