Sometimes, he and I pretend cook together. Other times, he play cooks while I make real meals. I actually let him help toss salads and make dressing. To encourage his little hobby, first I bought him his own pot and a pot stand he can pretend is a stove. I also bought him toy fruits and vegetables he can stir to his heart's content.
