Comments for Real IT: The Day-to-Day Struggle to Convey Relevance

Technology is a part of life, but it's not always the best part of life. I work with churches and ministries every day that are struggling with small budgets trying to make a difference in the lives of people. I've been in the IT industry for over 20 years and some day's I still see a lot of technology implementation that just aren't useful. I hope to be helpful in getting past the roadblocks to relevant technology.

Do Notes.... The BIG LIE and it is a lie is the one posted about familiarity with Outlook. Unfortunately, I have had the displeasure of moving two Notes shops to Outlook Exchange. (or should I say lookout). The "Evil Empire" will have you believe that everyone has familiarity with Outlook. That would be the cool aid drinkers. It has been my REAL life experience that most users are just as clueless about Outlook as they are about Notes all things being equal. At my former job from which
