But not for demanding work. As Peter Koen reported, there have been experiments on the efficiency of engineers working on several projects in parallel. If the number of parallel projects is reduced by a factor of two, there is a huge increase in productivity. Overall, it boosts the output as if the number of engineers is doubled.Maybe this looks old-fashioned.
