The Week Ahead UK & Europe: BOE and ECB Interest Rate Decisions - August 30, 2008

After last week's wave of hawkish comments from European Central Bank speakers, markets are expecting the central bank to keep rates on hold at 4.25%. In the UK, markets are also expecting the Bank of England to hold rates at 5.00%.
