Dead trees, dead forest Is this just the beginning - July 12, 2008

This photo was taken by my father (Reinhold Plank) during a hike in the "Muehlviertel" to the "Ploeckenstein" (Upper Austria) and I have the honour, to publish it here. It shows a section of the forest wich has been completely destroyed by a bark beetle infestation.
