Hey guys, good show again. Quick question about Tim's PIM setup. You briefly mentioned something about syncing between Google Calendar and mobile devices (). I am just trying to get this working, but haven't found a good solution yet. Any ideas Ideally syncing multiple GCalendars to Outlook and a couple of mobile phones... Cheers, -G

Yeah, sometimes I'm Captain Oblivious. I manage a group of people in India from Canada and sometimes I think I forget where I am...

I know your email is fake... geeze Yeah in Canada you are about as far removed from our timezone as you can get - bummer. But it also explains why Keith gets up at 4 am when he does the show! We shall work on a Northern Hemisphere SL group then :)

Dave: My email on your blog is fake anyway! :) I'd like to learn more about SL, but unfortunately Aussies like you and Cam are on a way different time zone from us up here in Canada. I'm not sure how far you're off from EST, but I never seem to catch anyone at TPN HQ in SL. I think I've already added you in SL, I'm using Herne there as well.

Hern just remember that social networks can't take your data outside of the terms of service that you agree to. However as you say - that can be over ridden by agreeing to allow a 3rd party app to do what it likes. And just FYI your email address for OUR blog is not stored for data trawling, it is just another level of protection against spammers. So fear not the geek :) Not everything costs $L in SL - you just have to know where to look. But then to actually acquire some L$ is as cheap as so..

Jeffro2pt0: Oh for sure these "social networking" sites are data harvesters. And the most amusing thing is that people willingly give these sites private and accurate data because they just don't know any better. These are the same types of people that have their identities stolen and then claim, "Uh, I didn't know posting my driver's license on the Internet was bad." I never put private data on the 'Net and I'm certainly not going to make it easy for some marketer to target me with...

Oh and Jeff sorry missed your comment, yes KW is MAD. Plus interesting that you too have had a rethink on SL. No chance of KW doing that...
