Spiced Danish Meatballs (Krydrede Frikadeller) - June 4, 2008

My grandmother used to make these meatballs on special occasions. It takes time to make but is so good to eat! They are great with pickled red cabbage and boiled potatoes. Leftovers can be made into sandwiches. I usually end up using more butter than the recipe calls for. Also use a dependable hand mixer or electric mixer stand. I was not given the recipe, but found one that tastes just like grandma's! -- posted by Solamega

Sopa De Albondigas (Aka Meatball Soup) - June 3, 2008

i got this recipe out of a Sephardic Cookbook. i really recommend this dish- it is a little hard to get just right because you add lemon juice and egg to the soup mixture, but when you get it right, it is worth it. This soup is rich and hearty and can be a meal unto its own. it is really good during the winter time because the thickness of the soup gives you a sense of comfort. -- posted by Rellish
