Recipezaar: Super Bowl recipesThe newest Recipezaar recipesin:Super BowlGreen Tomato Spirals- April 14, 2008 These don't have to be cut into spirals; just thinly slice the green tomatoes instead. (I have a gadget that cuts potatoes, onions, etc into long spirals, like curly fries, and wondered how it would do with a green tomato. It did great!). These are best eaten right after frying as they tend to lose their crispiness the longer they sit. I serve them with ranch dressing. -- posted by mailbellehttp://www.recipezaar.com/298231 Festive Cocktail Meatballs- April 11, 2008 Recipe from Minute Rice. -- posted by Sue Lhttp://www.recipezaar.com/297959 Spicy Jalapeno Slaw- April 10, 2008 This slaw is great with anything BBQ'd or grilled. You are the captain of spice, you create the heat with the jalapenos you add in. You can actually leave them out and just use a drop or two of hot sauce or red pepper flakes or even a pinch of cayenne. However you make this, it's sure to be a hit! Note: I serve this in tortillas as a vegetable taco, or with meat. I also place some of the slaw on a plate and top with grilled steak, chicken, or catfish. So good! -- posted by FLUFFSTERhttp://www.recipezaar.com/297757 Blue Cheese Steak Sandwich With the Works- April 10, 2008 I have been playing around with this type of sandwich for some time and I foound "almost the one" from the Food Network Kitchens, Marinating times were not included, they vary from 15-30 minutes up to 4 hours(we did the marinating for 4 hours.) -- posted by DiScharfhttp://www.recipezaar.com/297426 Merkman's Latest Rib Rub- April 5, 2008 Finger lickin, sweet and spicy goodness!!! Cheesy, crispy and flaky pastry straws with a lick of marmite - great for pre-dinner drinks, picnics, lunch boxes or snacks. The Marmite company has a very clever advert that announces that you either LOVE Marmite or HATE it! I love it, that's why it has been added to these delicious Cheese Straws........however, if you HATE it - I have suggested alternatives. My daughter only ever uses Marmite in her...http://www.recipezaar.com/296144 Pierogi Pot Stickers With Herbs and Sour Cream- April 3, 2008 This recipe is taken from Rachael Ray's "Cooking 'Round the Clock" cookbook. It turns the frozen pierogies you get at any grocery store into a fantastic, cripsy alternative to the usual soggy, boiled ones and makes a yummy snack or sidedish. Make these on game day and your guests will kiss the ground you walk on! Feel free to experiment with different herbs and spices - basil or crushed red pepper might be good. -- posted by SkinsFanhttp://www.recipezaar.com/296023 Teriyaki Lime Chicken Foils- April 2, 2008 Too easy!! -- posted by littleChef84 in Raleigh NChttp://www.recipezaar.com/295958 |
