I always use Watkins brand pie seasoning blend, but you may use any good quality brand you prefer. I also often make my own crust, but you may use store-bought crust if you prefer. I wrote it down in stop and go freeway traffic from a Narsi David radio cooking show, hence the name. It goes well with fowl, because of the cranberries. If it is the only starch side dish, it will serve 4-6, but if it is Thanksgiving (with other side dishes) it will go for 10. Prep time includes cooking the potatoes, and preparing the apples. It is one of my favorite recipes for duck. You can save the grease to use another time - the flavor increases but I have never done this and am leary of reusing fat.
