Being completely obsessed with Hawaii, it's no wonder I liked this dish! In the original recipe I would use bone-in chicken pieces, usually thighs, but I think I would now prepare this using boneless chicken-your choice. Sadly, this...http://www.recipezaar.com/272704 Lanai Baked Beans- December 20, 2007 During a family get-together in Hawaii one Christmas a couple of years ago, these beans were served to us by the caterer at a local luau on the island of Lanai and they were gracious enough to give me the recipe. Try it with the Pineapple Wasabi Aioli for dipping. Yum! It is enough for 2 good sized ahi steaks (34 pound total)or about 12 pound large scallops. Great for grilled shrimp, chicken or seared ahi. You may want to adjust the amount of wasabi to your own spice level.
