Thunder Lake- July 15, 2006 Here's a photo of a couple of my neices in Thunder Lake last weekend on my trip up north. I hadn't had a chance to post any photos yet... Shortly after taking the picture, me and a bunch more of my family jumped in the lake with them and played in the waves for an hour or so. The waves were about 3 feet and lots of fun. I'm glad I have a day to do nothing today. I'm pretty tired from being out every night this week after a whirlwind trip up north where I travelled all night. So long as...http://www.guinevere.ca/archives/2006/07/thunder_lake.html VBall & Organic- July 13, 2006 Wow, I've been super busy since getting back from Dryden- too busy to post to my blog. I almost didn't make it tonight either- I just got in from our first beach volleyball games of the season. We had 5 games tonight and it was so much fun! We won 3 out of 5 games and the 2 that we lost were really close (2 & 4 points behind) when we were 5 people and the other team was 6. Great times. Anyway, the announcement seems past due now, because I haven't had a chance to post, and because my family...http://www.guinevere.ca/archives/2006/07/vball_organic.html Quick Dryden Visit- July 6, 2006 Hey friends & family... I'm flying up North to Thunder Bay tonight and I'll be in Dryden on the Greyhound bus at 3 a.m. I can only stay until Sunday, but at least I get to visit! I hope to see as many of you as possible when I'm up for the weekend. And here's a bit of a preview of my next blog post...http://www.guinevere.ca/archives/2006/07/quick_dryden_vi.html Happy July Birthdays- July 6, 2006 Happy birthday July people! Let's start with... My mom whose birthday is today! Uncle Alfred's birthday is tomorrow and my friend Jason's birthday is Saturday after that we get a break until the 26th when it's my neice Sarah's birthday. Happy birthday everybody!!!http://www.guinevere.ca/archives/2006/07/happy_july_birt.html Waterfront- July 4, 2006 Allen took this nice photo at the Etobicoke waterfront today, looking towards Toronto. We had a nice walk along the lakeshore and across the Humber bridge, which I always liked the look of and wanted to visit. After our walk, we drove back out onto the highway where traffic was stopped due to a mini-van on fire! It was impressively destroyed. People were all milling about around it, so I don't think anybody was hurt.http://www.guinevere.ca/archives/2006/07/waterfront.html Fireworks!!!- July 2, 2006 Here's a quick clip of the fireworks Allen and I enjoyed last night at Mel Lastman Square for the Canada Day celebrations. Happy Canada day everybody! The fireworks (as you can see) were impressive, but brief. As they concluded the sky decided to give us all a free shower. Al and I certainly needed it after a day at Canada's Wonderland. The Top Gun made us feel funny. I was supposed to be celebrating Canada Day up north, but couldn't at the last minute. Rest assured, I'm thinking of...http://www.guinevere.ca/archives/2006/07/fireworks.html |
