I love making it with bananas soon before they're ready to be thrown away. My boyfriend doesn't like nuts, so it tastes great without them as well. Easily doubled if you'd like to make more. -- posted by Abbey212http://www.recipezaar.com/309466 Experimental Banana Fosters Cupcakes- June 15, 2008 I'm posting this here so i can throw away the 6+ pages of recipes i have for this recipe. I'm still working on the cake mix so for now i'm going to say to use banana supreme cake mix. When topping the cupcakes use the black sugar and jimmies sparingly, just a few grains of both will be fine. This is a recipe still being worked out so if you feel the utmost need to point something out to me please do so. -- posted by Animate Mehttp://www.recipezaar.com/309432 Sardines in Salt sarde Sotto Sale- June 15, 2008 Get the freshest fish you can find! 4 kg fish will fill a 2 litre glass jar. Eat on their own with fresh bread with a good glass of white wine, or fillet for a pasta alla Puttanesca. -- posted by Missy Wombathttp://www.recipezaar.com/309375 Oatmeal, Bacon, and Cheddar Scones- June 14, 2008 This is VERY loosely adapted from "(Relatively) Healthy Oatmeal Scones," kind of in the way that the movie "Clueless" is loosely adapted from Jane Austen's "Emma." It's a pretty simple recipe, and the scones have tasted quite good for as long as they last. (We haven't had them for more than 5 days, so I can't say how fresh they would be after that point.) -- posted by Mawrterhttp://www.recipezaar.com/309207 Dandelion Syrup- June 14, 2008 I like dandelions; not in the middle of my yard, but my day is ALWAYS brighter when either of my kids give me a handful of bright yellow flowers. And learning that I can EAT them make them all the cooler! I think this syrup has a deeper flavor than the sugary stuff you get at the store (although it's not health food!) Found it in a magazine or newspaper, years ago. -- posted by Anemonehttp://www.recipezaar.com/309206 Pecan Toffee Shortbread- June 13, 2008 Shortbread topped with pecan studded toffee.....mmmmmm......delicious!!! You can omit the cornflour and swap it for more plain flour if you wish, but the cornflour gives the shortbread a lighter texture. -- posted by Noohttp://www.recipezaar.com/309172 Popcorn Fluff Bars- June 13, 2008 Sweet and salty! Can be stored up to 2 weeks in an airtight container. If the stored nuts become soft, spread them on a baking tray and bake them for 5-10 minutes at 300F (150C) degrees. -- posted by Annisettehttp://www.recipezaar.com/308865 |
