Now I have converted 25 videos to mp4 format. No need for the VHS player any more. The video quality (and sound) is quite ok, as good as VHS can be, I think. Of course not dvd or digital tv quality, but good for my purposes at least. Only "Lumikki" (Disney's Show White) caused problems.
